Aspirant conformists lost in clown world. Variously described as Mark E Smith with better diction and/or Ian Curtis on a bad day meets the Stooges. Mr Non Non diarises his miserable failures, futile hopes and gruesome punishments at the hands of callous fate and deliberate systemic decline in musical-ish form with which, like as not, entire generations across the western world can identify.
This one is titled 'Chasing'.
It's about the pursuit of happiness in an unremittingly harsh and getting harsher, world. Feeling 'trapped, fenced, incensed'. Remember the good old daze when the phrase 'running to stand still' wus bandied about. Well you can put them behind you. The current vibe is more like 'running flat out to go backwards more slowly'... Peace be upon you (if you're lucky).
